Brazilian painter Gaspar Saldanha, shows his impressionistic style oils, painted "en plain air" at our Miami Beach Botanical Garden.  Saldanha, whose career focused mostly in Design, has been trained in Fine Arts at the Arts Students League in New York City.

Japanese Spring Festival

The Japanese Spring Festival invites guests to experience Japanese culture firsthand through interactive and immersive encounters including thundering performances of Taiko drumming by Fushu Daiko, Ikebana floral design workshops, traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, hands-on origami lessons and a Japanese Marketplace. A family-friendly event, the Japanese Spring Festival also offers a children’s corner featuring storytelling and arts and crafts.

2020 O,Miami presents “Poetry in Pajamas”

Back for a 3rd year, it’s a family-friendly evening with inspired young poets. Staged in a giant bed under the banyan tree, Poetry in Pajamas is an open mic for children to recite poetry in their pajamas, led by brothers Sam and Simon. Afrobeta provides music, snacks from Edible South Florida, and a Dreamcatcher installation by fiber artist, Kandi Stirman. Storytell-ing, lawn games and tons of creativity.

We are an intimate 3 acre Garden with a very big mission! We call ourselves an urban oasis in the middle of the glitz and neon of South Beach, a place where locals and visitors can come and enjoy the numerous cultural and artistic programs for all ages offered year round.
