Live Arts Miami’s MUNDO Live Music Series joins Miami Jazz Booking’s Jazz in the Jungle for an evening at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden featuring Colombian accordionist and cumbia master Yeison Landero, known as El Heredero de la Cumbia (“The Heir of Cumbia”).

The grandson and musical heir of legendary accordionist Andrés Landero, “The King of Cumbia,” Yeison carries the tradition of Colombian cumbia sabanera into a new generation. From his hometown of San Jacinto, Bolívar, to performances at the Hollywood Bowl, The Ford, and Kennedy Center, he has emerged as one of cumbia’s foremost contemporary ambassadors.

The evening marks both the opening of Jazz in the Jungle’s new season and Live Arts Miami’s 2026–27 season, The Art of Together - an invitation to come together through the arts and shared experience. Live music, social dancing, food, drinks, and local vendor activations will unfold throughout the lush setting of the Garden.
