Under the guidance of Italian perfumer Patrizio Santocchi of Monteleone Miami, you’ll explore the aromatic ingredients that bring fragrances to life—from delicate florals to exotic woods and resins. Patrizio, known for blending scent and flavor in his multisensory gelato and fragrance creations, will lead you through an unforgettable journey of olfactory discovery.

Gain a foundation in fragrance composition, safety, and perfumery principles. Learn what makes a scent balanced, harmonious, and memorable.

Join us at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden for a holiday ceramics workshop led by Miami artist Erica Lores from Maracuyá Studio. You'll have the chance to get creative and make 3-5 ornaments to decorate your tree with or hang as decorations!

We invite you to connect with your inner artist as you hand-build using stoneware clay. You will be guided step-by-step and learn a few essential techniques for working with clay. After you have sculpted your form, you will have the opportunity to paint and decorate it to make it unique.

All levels and ages are welcome! No experience necessary. Kids under 6 are welcome to participate and share clay with their parent/guardian.

• All materials, firing, and glazing of 3-5 pieces per person.

• All pieces will be glazed with a clear glaze and fired by Erica in her studio. Your creations will be available for pick up at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden 1-2 weeks after the event—you will be notified via email.

This fun and engaging macramé class is designed to spark creativity and introduce students to the art of macramé. The class will begin with an introduction to what macramé is, including a brief history of the craft. Students will then be guided through demonstrations of essential knotting techniques used in macramé.

The highlight of the class will be learning how to create a macramé plant hanger. Each student will be guided step-by-step through the process and will complete their own plant hanger to take home.

Throughout the session, students will learn the basics of macramé, including foundational knot work, measurement techniques, and how to apply these skills to a variety of future projects.

All materials for the class will be provided, and each step will be demonstrated and taught clearly. Students are only asked to bring a pair of scissors for personal use—though extra scissors will be available if needed.

This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly class that’s both relaxing and inspiring. Students will leave with a finished piece, new skills, and the confidence to continue exploring macramé on their own.
