ROMA JAZZ FEST EXHIBITION SERIES
ELEONORA STRINO Italian Jazz Guitarist
Eleonora Strino is widely recognized as one of the most compelling young voices in international jazz guitar. She gained global attention with a February 2020 cover feature in Jazz Guitar Today, placing her alongside leading figures of the modern scene.
Her debut album as a bandleader, I Got Strings (Cam Jazz, 2023), was recorded live in Berlin with Greg Cohen and Joey Baron, and later presented at Blue Note Milan. That same year, she released her instructional book Bebop Scales for Jazz Guitar (Fundamental Changes).
Strino maintains an active international career, touring and teaching across Europe, the Americas, and beyond. She performs regularly with Dado Moroni, Emanuele Cisi, and in “The Great Guitars” alongside Ulf Wakenius and Martin Taylor—becoming the first woman to join the historic project.
In addition to her performing career, she is an active educator and currently serves as a jazz guitar professor at the Conservatory of Cosenza.
