The Recycled Orchestra of Cateura Live at the Garden

The world-renowned Cateura Recycled Orchestra brings its inclusive music program to The Miami Beach Botanical Garden where guests will get the chance to participate in their interactive multicultural concerts and “Build Your Own Recycled Instrument” workshop. Children will explore music, STEM, and sustainability by creating instruments from recycled materials, experiencing the power of creativity and collaboration.

Founded in 2012 by environmental engineer Favio in a marginalized community built around the largest landfill in Asunción, Paraguay, the Recycled Orchestra provides 350 students living in poverty with free music education using instruments made entirely from reclaimed materials, transforming their lives through music.
