Join us at Miami Beach Botanical Garden’s Gnome & Fairy Garden for a morning of wonder and gratitude! “Thank You, Earth!” invites children and families to celebrate nature’s beauty through hands-on activities, storytelling, and creative expression. Together, we’ll explore what it means to be thankful—for our planet, our community, and the magic that lives all around us.
This special activation blends art, imagination, and environmental appreciation—perfect for curious minds and garden adventurers of all ages.
Plant Art with Sandy the Tropical Tree Fairy: Children will create colorful art using recycled paper, dried leaves, and flowers from the garden.
Coloring Corner: Join local interdisciplinary artist Gloria Hernando for a relaxing drawing activity using eco-friendly materials and have Gloria sign your own copy of her coloring and poetry book, The Magical World of Orchids.
Book Buds Reading Circle: Young readers (ages 8+) are invited to bring a favorite book to share with younger children (ages 0+). Little listeners can bring a blanket and a stuffed friend from home!
Nature Portraits: Capture your connection with nature through a special portrait session with Deborah Lima, inspired by the Garden’s beauty.
