Presented by the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, Dahlia Dreszer's newest solo exhibition, featuring photographic, floral still lifes that explore the fragile intersection of memory, cultural tradition, and grief. In an age of accelerating technological change, Dreszer looks at how materiality and technology shape the way memories are formed, stored, and retold. The result is a relatable meditation on the human impulse to hold onto what time inevitably takes away.
Inspired by her family’s stories of migration and her grandmother's acts of conservation, Dreszer frames floral preservation as a form of remembrance. The work questions what it means to preserve personal memory, cultural heritage, and identity across time, technology, and displacement. The exhibition emphasizes that flowers are not decorative objects but sentimental memorabilia.
