Miami Jazz Booking returns to the Garden for Jazz in the Jungle, featuring musician, singer, percussionist, and educator Brenda Navarrete.

A celebrated batá player, Navarrete has helped break longstanding cultural traditions surrounding the double-headed drum, traditionally played by men. Through her music, she brings together heritage, authenticity, and a spirit of empowerment.

Join us for an evening of lively Afro-Cuban rhythms, with vinyl selections by Angelica Rose and DJ Oro 11 to keep the music flowing!
