Annual Japanese Spring Festival

This one-day event celebrates all aspects of Japanese culture. 

This year we are pleased to announce he Consulate General of Japan in Miami will be presenting a sushi demonstration by a world renowned sushi chef.

Activities throughout the day include:

Ekphrasis in the Garden with Dance Now! & the South Beach Chamber Ensemble

Dance NOW! brings its critically acclaimed, site-specific performance back to one of the treasures of Miami Beach for a truly unique experience.

Stroll through the garden, following the dancers in an unforgettable journey of dance. Two 1-hour performances at 4pm & 6pm; reception to follow.


Green Book Club

The Green Book Club is devoted to the topics that green-thumbs love best: nature, gardens, conservation and the environment. New members are always welcome!

Bring your children and let their imagination and creativity soar! Watch them make arts and crafts under the palms and explore all kinds of mediums and materials to express their inner Picasso. Art in the Park is on Rain or Shine. Let the kids create while you rejuvenate with yoga. Free and open to the public with registration.

pO,etry in Pajamas | Pajama Party in the Garden

Staged in a giant bed at the enchanted Miami Beach Botanical Garden, families will take a break from their everyday worries to listen to children of all ages recite poetry (in their pajamas) led by brothers Sam and Simon. With our favorite band Afrobeta, snacks from Edible South Florida, and a Dreamcatcher installation under the banyan tree by fiber artist, Kandi Stirman this event promises to be a dream come true.  Everyone is encouraged to wear pajamas, bring a blanket and a poem.

Ghosts in the Garden - Family Halloween Event

Our ghosts and goblins await your family for a free spooktacular afternoon in "The Haunted Garden".

Bring your Little Monsters in their Halloween garb for a safe seasonal celebration.

Party with the Plants - Exclusive Member Event

Join us for a free members-only preview of the newly refurbished Garden Center. The Garden Center is our nursery, retail space for the sale of plants and accessories, and horticultural workshops. Join us at 6:00 PM to toast the launch of The Garden Center. A selection of orchids and seasonal herbs will be available for purchase. 

Reflections on the Horizon by Frida Baranek

You are invited to the reception and artist talk: "Reflections on the Horizon by Frida Baranek." Meet the artist, followed by engagement with the exhibit. Inspired by the subtropical landscape of South Florida, Frida Baranek has made a work of art for the environment, blending and using the colors found in local fauna and flora. Engage with the art installation in the Garden and look through the glowing disks for a new view on the horizon. Light refreshements will be served. Free and open to the public.

Art Show - Nature into Art/Art into Nature

ART SHOW - A day of visual art exhibitions, performances, architecture and sound installations, live music, and more. Artists will work side by side with PAXy, collaborators, and the Botanical Garden to make you float in a magical world.While you’re there, lose yourself among 2.6 acres of subtropical plants from all over the world in a beautiful urban oasis.
