Sunday Garden Yoga

The Garden is the perfect place to connect with nature and tap into your infinite potential. Shake off the the stress of the work week and connect with your intention during our Sunday Garden Yoga. Each class is $15. Donations benefit Miami Beach Botanical Garden.

About the instructor, Franci Blanco:
"In a world filled with constant stimuli, pulling us in several directions, Franci uses yoga to bring our awareness back to our bodies, which allows us to understand our core and move forward with more balance and clarity."

Discovering Design Free Family Day: Spring Has Sprung

Seed your curiosity through Lois Ehlert’s Waiting for Wings (2001) and start your very own garden by crafting your favorite plant, bug, or bird out of wet felt. Co-sponsored by and held at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.

Second Saturday Seminar Honey Bees of Florida and Honey Sale with Bunch Farms

Second Saturday Seminar. Saturday June 10, 2017. 10AM-12 NOON. Join us for a free horticulture seminar on Florida honey bees presented by Bush Farms. Inese will present a informative seminar on the unique qualities of honey bees of South Florida, and an introduction to beelkeeping. There will be a demo hive at the presentation. The seminar wll be followed by a honey sale from Bunch Farms. "Diverse nectar sources are responsible for the variety in taste and color of our delicious honey.

Guided Garden Tour

Every Saturday 11am -11:45am. Discover the garden with a guided tour by our knowledgeable staff. There is a lot of horticulture and history packed into the Garden’s 2.6 acres. Come discover the stories behind the plants and landscape of the garden.If you are traveling with a large group or would like to schedule a tour, please call the Garden to arrange an appointment. There is a suggested $5 donation per head.

Japanese Spring Festival 2017

Enjoy a day's worth of Japanese-themed activities during our annual Japanese Spring Festival, where we celebrate Miami's friendship with Japan.

Some of the featured activities include:

  • Taiko drumming performances by Fushu Daiko,
  • Ikebana classes, the Japanese Art of Flower arrangement (for both children and adults),
  • Authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony,
  • Children's martial arts demonstration,
  • Anime-themed vendors and plant vendors, AND MUCH MORE!

The event will be free and open to the public and it will start at 10AM.

Art in the Park with Marie

Marie Kolbert is a licensed pre-school teacher in her home country of Sweden, where she has been involved in arts her whole life. After playing soccer for the National Team in Sweden, she arrived in the U.S. on a soccer scholarship at Lynn University in Boca Raton in 1996. There she received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Design. In 2000, she moved to Miami Beach where she still resides.

We are an intimate 2.6 acre Garden with a very big mission! We call ourselves an urban oasis in the middle of the glitz and neon of South Beach, a place where locals and visitors can come and enjoy the numerous cultural and artistic programs for all ages offered year round. 

We are Miami Beach's back yard..
