Fall Equinox Candlelit Breathwork & Sound Bath Journey
September 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Doors will open at 6:30pm so that you can experience the garden in the peacefully quiet after hours while witnessing the aromas of the flowers coming to life. Our resident yoga teacher, Franci, will guide yogic breathwork that helps us remove stagnation and create deeper rhythmic balance with our nervous system, allowing for more fertile grounds for moments of clarity and inspiration.
We will practice inside the large ballroom and spill out into the outdoor space covered by the large sails.Class begins at 7pm. Yogic breathwork for 30 minutes followed by a 30 minute Sound Bath Journey Savasana Meditation, ending at 8pm. Bring a journal to write down any insights that came up during the practice while enjoying a complimentary cup of tea. There are a few mats available if needed. Please bring yoga blocks if you’d like a more restorative experience.
Just as there are seasons in life, we have seasons as well. Celebrating the equinox is a great way to honor our own seasons and align ourselves to Mother Nature. As the trees begin to release their foliage and leaves change color, we can also create space within ourselves for new insights and clarity.
On the equinox, the length of day and night are in balance, and is an opportunity for us to look at how we can begin to embrace the interplay of darkness and light in order to create resonance with our deeper internal spaces as well as the world around us.
Listening to a harmonic set of crystal sound bowls and instruments allows for a deeper sense of joy and wellness because they are so soothing to hear and their soundwaves, send deeper signals of calm to the body.
Parking is available at Miami Beach City Hall, Lincoln Road Mall Parking, and if you are lucky, right next to the garden.
